The Theatrefolk team was eager to refresh their website and enhance their content marketing strategy to more deeply resonate with their target audience - drama teachers!
As the Manager, Content Strategy at Core Online Marketing, I worked on this initiative with the Theatrefolk team and my colleagues at Core. I guided the content strategy for the website and ongoing content development.
Content Strategy
Working directly with the Theatrefolk team, my colleagues at Core and I identified and became familiar with the main target audiences and business goals.
I created a content gap analysis that analyzed the content on the current Theatrefolk website and the content that would bring it to it's ideal future state.
Simultaneously, I created a strategy for ongoing content marketing that included blogs to drive website traffic, email marketing campaigns and nurture sequences, videos for social media content, and more valuable resources.
Content Writing
Once the recommendations I made for website content and the content strategy were approved, I wrote the content for website pages, blogs, and emails.
For the website, I wrote SEO-rich and engaging headlines and H2 text, CTAs, and website copy that was concise and informative with a flair that incorporated the brand voice and would resonate with the quirks of the target audience.
The blog and email content that was written was planned with the goal of driving website traffic, engaging and entertaining the target audience, and encouraging product purchases.
